The weather in chapter 11 imatated the events of the story.  in the book when they beat up TJ the weather started it get bad with the lightning.  thats why the weather is the same as the story.

     It would be better for Uncle Hammer to return to Chicago.  He always had a bad temper and the temper would most likely get him killed.  In the book Mama said that that temper would get him killed.  Thats why Uncle Hammer should go back to Chicago.

T.J. and Stacey comparison

      In the book Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred D. Taylor, it tells some similarities and differences between the characters T.J Avery and Stacey Logan. If you read the book you could also pick out some similarities and differences between the two.

      First off, some similarities between T.J. and Stacey. Both of them are black. They are the oldest siblings in their family. Both of them are in 7th grade with Stacey’s mom, Mary Logan.

      They also have differences between them. Some differences between T.J. and Stacey are that T.J. and his family are sharecroppers on Mr.Granger’s land and Stacey and his Family own land that their grandpa bought. In the book it also has T.J. cheating and he shows Stacey the answers outside of school, but Stacey takes them and rips the answers up because he does not cheat. Also, T.J. got his brother in trouble when he went to the Wallace Store; when Stacey went to the Wallace Store with his siblings he took all the blame.

     This is why in the book Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry there are many similarities and differences between T.J. and Stacey. If you read the book there is a lot more you can find.

Chapter 5 prediction

       I think Cassie will go up to Mr. Barnett and say, "Um, Mr. Barnett, I think u forgot about T.J.'s list."

  

     "Well actually I didn't, you see I have to help them white people before I help you fellas."

  

     "Well I don't think that is fair." 

     "Well that's just the way it is and your just going to like it."

     And then Cassie gets in big trouble and has to suffer severe consequences, and hurts her bad.

      

Chapter 13 Cave

     I wanted to see want he was looking at.  And when he let me see I could not believe what was before my eyes.  It made the room glow.  Papa and I were speechless.  There was weapons, piles and piles of weapons.  There was enough weapons to make a hillock of weapons.  They were as shiny as water when the sun glistens on it.  There was gold, sliver, and bronze axes and swords.  They were very heavy.  I wonder why Mr.Pluto kept all these and didn't sell any, I thought to my self.  They were very heavy.
